Matt Donald began as a professional musician at age eight, when he was invited to join the cathedral choir in Gloucester. During his time as a member, he performed almost every day of the year, toured the USA, Canada, Italy, Australia, and New Zealand, starred in a BBC drama and recorded a number of releases. Although he didn’t realize it at the time, this set him up for a life of professional music. Alongside his work as a musician and songwriter, Matt is an integral part of the teaching faculty on Nexus ICA’s BA (Hons) Popular Music and Worship and MMus Popular Music Performance programs, developing curriculum, teaching, and tutoring - ensuring the next generation of Christian musicians are ready for the task.
